LEGO Classic Space - M-Tron sketches

Just a bunch of sketches on the M-Tron theme to figure out where I want to go with them. Not every LEGO space series has a really distinct design language like Blacktron for example (other than their color schemes), so I'm trying to figure out a common theme from the models in the series and devise a design language from there instead.

If I'm not mistaken the official back story of M-Tron claims they're miners even though the common theme throughout the models seems to be the emphasis on the standardized crates they use for transportation as well as the magnetic clamps to lift the crates with -it seemed to make sense to me to turn them into an interstellar transportation company instead. Above are a few sketches on their standard unit crate that will dictate the layout of their transportation vehicles, and a quick jab at M-Tron model 6896 (which I suppose would be their spaceport tractor for loading the bigger spaceships). I'll probably work that one out further in the future.

LEGO Classic Space - Ice Planet 2002

Got some more work in on my little LEGO project, this time a character for the Ice Planet 2002 series. Their back story is that they're a group of scientist doing cutting edge research on a remote planet to avoid detection by their main adversaries (Blacktron II and/or Spyrius).

I deviated a little from the original character designs by not including the helmet with bright orange visor and antennae since this is one of the scientists, but I think I'll do the guard/soldier version for these as well.

WIP - Lego Classic space scout

Just some character design practice, I thought it'd be fun to do a kind of realistic version of the classic lego space figures. Feedback is welcome!
